Definitions
In these terms:
- the Site means Guild LB, including its web pages and its API;
- Guild LB is a community-led project, and we, us and our mean the operators of Guild LB;
- you means the person using the Site;
- Game Data means the guild and player statistics, membership, ranks, in-game names and account identifiers obtained from Hypixel's public API;
- Account Data means the information held about your account on the Site, including any Minecraft account you link to it;
- Your Content means anything you submit to the Site, including a guild description, icon or banner.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Site, submitting a guild or player, signing in, or using the API, you accept these terms in full. If you do not accept them, do not use the Site. If you use the Site on behalf of a guild or any other group, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
Our Services
The Site publishes leaderboards covering a selected set of Hypixel SkyBlock guilds, together with guild pages and player pages. There is no subscription and no paid tier.
The Site is free to use for everyone and may display advertising, served by Google AdSense. We do not select or endorse what is advertised, and any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and them.
We may add, change, restrict or remove any feature at any time and without notice, including which guilds are tracked, which statistics are shown and how they are calculated. We may suspend or discontinue the Site entirely. Nothing on the Site is advice, and no ranking confers any right or status inside Hypixel SkyBlock or anywhere else.
Game Data and Accuracy
Game Data is cached and may be refreshed from time to time. A player's figures may be up to three days out of date, and sometimes longer.
Rankings are a point-in-time view of cached data. They are not authoritative and may disagree with in-game values, with Hypixel's own displays, and with other leaderboards. We do not warrant that any figure, ranking or calculation on the Site is accurate, complete or current, and we do not warrant that the Site will be available.
You agree not to rely on the Site for any decision that matters to you, and not to present anything shown here as an official or verified record.
Market Data and Estimates
The Site offers tools that draw on SkyBlock market activity, including auction snipe and flip results, reference and market prices, profit figures, bazaar flips, networth estimates, historical trends, and mayor predictions. Everything these tools produce is an estimate, provided “as is” and for informational purposes only.
These figures may be inaccurate, delayed or incomplete. SkyBlock prices move quickly, and a number shown may be out of date by the time you act on it. We do not warrant that any price, profit figure, snipe, flip, networth estimate, trend or prediction is accurate, complete, current or achievable.
Nothing on the Site is financial, trading or investment advice. It relates to in-game coins and items in Hypixel SkyBlock, not to real-world money or securities. Any decision you make in the game is yours.
User Accounts
Signing in requires a Discord account. Discord requires its users to be at least 13 years old, and higher in some countries; you must meet that requirement for your country. We do not verify or ask for your age. If we learn that an account belongs to someone below that age, we may remove it.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and for the security of the Discord account it depends on. Your access here ends if you lose access to that Discord account. Your account is personal to you and you may not transfer or assign it.
You may link a Minecraft account to prove that you own it. You represent and warrant that you own any account you link. Rights over a guild page follow from the rank Hypixel reports for your linked account, so you lose those rights if that rank changes. You agree not to claim an account you do not own and not to interfere with another user's verification.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- circumvent, evade or interfere with rate limits or the bot-protection challenge;
- submit guilds or players automatically or in bulk;
- scrape the Site outside the documented API;
- claim or attempt to verify an account you do not own;
- attempt to reach other users' data, administrative functions or any part of the Site you have not been granted access to;
- probe, disrupt or overload the Site or the infrastructure it runs on;
- use the Site to break the law or the rules of any service it depends on.
Your Content
You retain ownership of Your Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce and display it on the Site, and process it as reasonably necessary to provide those functions, for as long as it remains published.
You represent and warrant that you hold the rights necessary to grant that licence. You agree not to submit content that infringes anyone's rights, is unlawful, hateful, harassing, obscene or deceptive, impersonates another person, contains malware or links to it, or is spam or advertising.
We may remove or refuse Your Content at our discretion and without notice.
Users write guild profiles, including icons, banners, descriptions and links such as Discord invites. We do not review them before they appear and we do not endorse them. They may be inaccurate or offensive, and a link may lead to a site that is unsafe, misleading or a phishing attempt. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for user-submitted content or for anything you encounter by following such a link. If you find content that breaches these terms, report it using the contact details below and we will review it.
API Terms and Compliance
API access requires a key issued to your account. Keys are rate limited and personal to you, and you must not share, publish or resell them. You are responsible for every request made with your key. We may change limits, revoke any key and withdraw API access at any time and without notice.
The API relays SkyBlock data that originates from the official Hypixel API. By using it you also agree to the Hypixel API Terms of Service and developer policies. In particular you must: attribute Hypixel as the source of the underlying game data; respect our rate limits and any limits Hypixel imposes; not use the data to cheat, harm players, or gain an unfair in-game advantage; and not redistribute or resell the raw Hypixel data in a way that violates their terms.
You may use only the endpoints documented on our API page. Other endpoints are internal to Guild LB and are not part of the public API. We may add further usage rules and fair-use limits, which take effect when posted.
Intellectual Property
The Site's name, design, layout and original text belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them except as these terms allow. Game Data consists of facts about Hypixel accounts and we claim no ownership of it.
Third-Party Services
Guild LB is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Hypixel Inc. or Mojang Studios / Microsoft. “Minecraft” and “Hypixel” are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe what the Site shows.
Game Data is obtained through Hypixel's public API. That access may be changed, restricted or withdrawn at any time, by Hypixel or by us, and part or all of the Site may stop working as a result. We do not warrant that Game Data will remain available.
The Site also depends on Discord for sign-in and on other third-party services. None of them is under our control. We are not responsible for their availability or accuracy, for any change they make, or for any action Hypixel, Mojang or Discord takes against your account. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.
The Site uses third-party providers for hosting, databases, storage, authentication, analytics and other infrastructure. These providers may change, and their own terms and privacy notices apply to their services.
Warranty Disclaimer
The Site is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy and uninterrupted availability. You use the Site at your own risk.
No Liability for Losses
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and its operators accept no responsibility or liability for any loss of in-game coins, items or other in-game assets, or for any other loss or damage, arising from your use of or reliance on the Site or its data. This includes, without limitation, any auction, flip, snipe, price, profit, bazaar, networth, trend or mayor-prediction information the Site produces.
We do not guarantee any outcome, gain or profit. Any decision you make based on the Site is at your own risk, including the risk that a figure is wrong, stale or missing.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss or damage arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operators of Guild LB from and against any claim, demand, proceeding, loss, liability, damage or expense, including reasonable legal costs, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or the API, Your Content, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of the rights of any other person.
This obligation applies whether or not the claim is well founded. We may take control of the defence and settlement of any such claim, and you agree to cooperate with us if we do. This section survives termination of these terms.
Termination
You may stop using the Site at any time and may ask us to delete your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access, revoke your API keys and remove Your Content at any time, with or without notice, including where we believe you have breached these terms. The warranty disclaimer, the exclusions of liability, the indemnity and the governing law section survive termination.
Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute with us, contact us first at the email address below. We will try to resolve it informally, and you agree to allow a reasonable period for that before starting proceedings. Nothing here prevents either of us from seeking urgent relief from a court, or from bringing a claim you are entitled by law to bring in your own country.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operators' place of residence, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them is subject to the courts having jurisdiction there.
Miscellaneous
- Severability. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them if the Site changes hands.
- Entire agreement. These terms and the privacy policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. The current version is at /terms, and the date above shows when it last changed. Where a change is material we will announce it through the Site's usual community channels. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
